Buy a gay book to read while u drink ur gay chai latteonly having dance clubs as an option to meet lesbian and bisexual women in my teens was really demoralizing… it made it look like the only people i could meet were the extroverted kind that like to dance and drink and be in crowded spaces which were things that i didn’t enjoy at all…so how would i find someone minimally compatible with me? :( it also gave me the subconscious impression tat developing a normal friendship that could blossom into a mutually supportive relationship and then falling in love was out of the question… like my only option was find some stranger and drunkenly make out with them and exchange numbers and hope something happened and that just….NO. it wasn’t for me
i don’t know if a café would have been much better because it would still mean that i have to meet someone and start ‘’something’’ (at least a mutual interest in dating) on the first day, instead of having a normal, growing relationship that could develop day after day, but hey, it’s something. at least it would eliminate the pressure to get drunk and gyrate to music and make out with some stranger?? :P
if a guy is hitting on u and he is clearly the alpha in his group of guys.. go for the third in command and undermine their whole power structure
